The residence stands on a hill in Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten, and the condo looks across to Simpson Bay lagoon.

The bedroom is closed off from the living space and holds a king-size bed. A closet with hangers gives room for your clothes, and the curtains can darken the room when you want to sleep in.

A sofa and a table for meals share the living room with a flat-screen TV. Its windows let daylight in and face the lagoon, since the unit has no balcony.

The kitchen is set up for proper cooking, with a hob and extractor hood, a dishwasher and a fridge, plus an oven and a microwave. Next to them you will find a blender, a toaster, a kettle and an espresso machine. Crockery, cutlery and utensils are provided, along with wine and champagne glasses.

Air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi are available throughout. A washer-dryer, an iron with its board and a hair dryer are in place, and bed linen, bath and beach towels and bathroom essentials come with the stay. On request, the condo can be fitted with a high chair and a cot for a baby. The front door opens with an electronic lock, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed.

Rooftop pool and shared spaces at The Hills Residence

The rooftop is shared by the residents, and its swimming pool overlooks the lagoon. Sun loungers line the pool, which opens daily between 8 am and 8 pm.

Each building has an elevator, and the residence offers a lobby and private parking. Outdoor cameras watch over the common areas.

Simpson Bay restaurants, beaches and the airport

Simpson Bay’s restaurants, shops and marinas are a short drive away. Simpson Bay beach and Maho beach are close by, and so is Princess Juliana International Airport.

Because the residence sits on a hill, a rental car makes day-to-day trips simpler. A car also lets you explore the island, from Philipsburg to Marigot, and reach the beaches of the French side.

Booking D443 for a weekend or several weeks

D443 suits a couple, as it sleeps a maximum of two guests. Check-in starts at 4 pm and check-out is until 11 am.

The furnished condo works for a long weekend and equally for a stay lasting several weeks. Extra towels and intermediate housekeeping can be booked while you are here, and the washer-dryer and full kitchen make longer visits easy to manage.
