The apartment is on the second floor of Building 4 at The Hills Residence in Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten, and its balcony faces the Simpson Bay lagoon.
Surface: 110 m²
Bedrooms: 3 (one king-size bed, two queen-size beds)
Bathrooms: 3, each with a shower
Capacity: up to six guests
One bedroom has a king-size bed, while the two others each take a queen-size bed. Every room comes with storage and blackout curtains, which gives each guest some privacy, and a TV is installed in the bedroom.
In the living area, a sofa faces a flat-screen TV, and the dining table seats the whole group at mealtimes. Out on the balcony there is furniture for two people. It is a pleasant spot to follow the boats crossing the lagoon or to sit outside once the evening breeze picks up.
The kitchen is complete enough to cook every day. It has an oven and a hob with an extractor hood, plus a microwave, a dishwasher and a refrigerator. For breakfast you will find an espresso machine, a toaster and a kettle. A blender, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied, along with wine glasses and champagne glasses.
Air conditioning keeps the rooms cool, the Wi-Fi connection is high-speed, and for longer stays there is a combined washer-dryer in the condo. Guests also have a hair dryer, an iron with its board, bed linen, bath towels, beach towels and bathroom essentials. Parents can ask for a high chair and a baby cot.
The front door opens with an electronic lock. The unit is also fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Residents share a swimming pool on the rooftop of The Hills Residence, with sun loungers set around it and a wide outlook over the lagoon. It opens daily between 8 am and 8 pm. A common a lobby are also part of the residence.
An elevator serves the buildings, and guests have private parking. Outdoor cameras cover the exterior. If you want a rental car, a restaurant table or an excursion organised, the concierge service can arrange it, and the team answers questions before you arrive as well as during the stay.
Simpson Bay’s restaurants, marinas and shops are a short drive down the hill. Simpson Bay beach and Maho beach are both close, and so is Princess Juliana International Airport.
The residence stands on a hill, and that height is where its views come from, so a rental car is recommended. Having one also makes it simple to cross the island to Philipsburg, to Marigot or to the beaches on the French side.
Arrival is possible from 4 pm, and departure is by 11 am. The condo takes a maximum of six guests, so it suits a family or a group of friends. Staff of The Hills Residence are on site if something comes up during your stay.
If you stay several weeks, you can book an intermediate housekeeping visit, and extra towels can be requested. With the full kitchen and the washer-dryer, daily life here runs much as it does at home. The condo works just as well for a long weekend.
Ahead of check-in, our team sends directions to The Hills Residence and the details for entering the condo, so your first day on Sint Maarten begins without stress.
