A one-bedroom condo in Building 4 of The Hills Residence

The condo measures 55 m², has one bedroom and one bathroom, and is located on the second floor of Building 4 at The Hills Residence in Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten.

The bedroom is closed off from the living space, which keeps the nights quiet. Its curtains block out the light, and a closet with hangers takes care of your clothes. In the main room, a sofa faces a flat-screen TV, and meals can be served at the dining table next to it.

The unit has no balcony. Daylight comes in through the living room windows, which face the Simpson Bay lagoon.

Cooking at home is easy here. The kitchen has a hob under an extractor hood, an oven and a microwave, along with a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Mornings can start with the espresso machine, the kettle or the toaster, and a blender is there for juices. Plates, cutlery, cooking utensils and glasses for wine and champagne are all supplied.

The condo is air-conditioned and has high-speed Wi-Fi and a combined washer-dryer. You will also find a hair dryer, an iron with its board, bathroom essentials, bed linen, and towels for both the bathroom and the beach. Families travelling with a baby can have a cot and a high chair set up in the condo.

The front door opens with an electronic lock. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are fitted in the unit.

Rooftop pool and shared spaces at The Hills Residence

The residence has a swimming pool on its roof, with sun loungers set around it and an outlook over the lagoon and the surrounding hills. It is open daily between 8 am and 8 pm.

Guests have private parking, and outdoor surveillance cameras are installed. The concierge can sort out a rental car, reserve a table at a restaurant or organise excursions and activities around the island, before you arrive or once you are here.

Simpson Bay around the residence

Simpson Bay’s restaurants, shops and marinas are a few minutes away by car. Simpson Bay beach and Maho beach are close by, and so is Princess Juliana International Airport.

The Hills Residence stands on a hillside, so having a car makes getting around much simpler. With one, you can also head to Philipsburg, to Marigot or to the beaches on the French side of the island.

Booking a stay in D421

Check-in starts at 4 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. The condo takes a maximum of two guests, so it suits a couple well. If anything comes up during the stay, the team of The Hills Residence is on site.

On longer bookings, you can arrange an intermediate cleaning, and extra towels can be requested. The full kitchen and the washer-dryer let you settle in much as you would at home.
