Tes has been fascinated with art and history from early childhood. And today she has moved to The Hills Residence.
After 31 years Tessel Verheij (known as Tes) decides to leave her birth country to discover the beauty of the world. With the start at the famous Merton Abbey Mills in SW London where she exhibit and ran her art school “ARTCRAFTCAFE” for adults and children.
Tes has been fascinated with art and history from early childhood.
In 2008 Tes left her successful London Artcraftcafe behind to start a new life focused on spending more time with her children. This began with a journey of extended travel throughout Europe. Egypt and around the world, fueled by a mission to explore other inspirational artists and art movements. It was during these travels that she discovered the beautiful island of St. Maarten where she now lives, teaches and paints full time since 2009.
The past 4 years she dedicated to a very unique medium, Vitrail(glass paint), acrylic inks and resin as her mediums.
These art pieces are created with intense rainbow colors, with a beautiful shine. Using vitrail as a medium is everlasting and preserves the color intensity.
Her Acrylic inks are magical and have a hidden art piece shown in the dark when the illumination starts. Art resin is a high gloss epoxy resin clear coat that creates a gorgeous durable finish. Designed specifically for creative projects. Engineered to protect against yellowing. Art resin enhances and protects the artwork.
Now situated at the Hills Residence in Simpson Bay Sint Maarten. We have customer parking. The Hills Residence is located in #69 Welfare Road , Simpson Bay.
