A separate bedroom holds a king-size bed and a closet fitted with hangers, and its curtains block out the early sun. The bathroom has a shower, and there is also a separate toilet. The living room has a sofa and a flat-screen TV, with a dining table close by for eating in.

The kitchen lets you cook properly. It has an oven, a hob under an extractor hood, a dishwasher, a fridge and a microwave. For breakfast you can use the espresso machine, the toaster or the kettle, and there is a blender too. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied, together with wine and champagne glasses.

Simpson Bay is a lively part of the Dutch side, with restaurants, bars, shops and marinas. Simpson Bay beach and Maho beach can be reached in a few minutes by car. Princess Juliana International Airport is just as close.

Philipsburg and its boardwalk lie further away, as do Marigot and the beaches on the French side. A rental car is the easiest way to get there and see the rest of the island.
