This 54 sqm one-bedroom condo sits on the first floor of Building 1 at The Hills Residence in Simpson Bay, on the Dutch side of the island, and its windows face Simpson Bay lagoon.

The bedroom is closed off from the living space. It is furnished with a king-size bed, and there is a closet with hangers for your clothes. Blind curtains keep the morning sun out.

In the living room, a sofa faces a flat-screen TV, with a dining table next to it. A sofa bed there takes the third guest. There is no balcony, but daylight comes in through the living room windows, which look toward the lagoon.

The kitchen is fitted with an oven, a hob under an extractor hood, a dishwasher, a refrigerator and a microwave. An espresso machine, a kettle, a toaster and a blender take care of breakfast. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied, along with wine glasses and champagne glasses.

Air conditioning cools the condo, a washer-dryer combo handles laundry, and the Wi-Fi connection is high-speed. Bed linen is provided, as are bath towels and beach towels, a hair dryer, an iron with its board, bathroom essentials and a cleaning product kit.

Families can ask for the baby cot and the high chair. The condo has smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and the front door works with an electronic lock.

Rooftop pool, parking at The Hills Residence

The pool of The Hills Residence is on the rooftop, and from there the view stretches across the lagoon. It opens daily from 8 am to 8 pm, and sun loungers are set around it.

Guests have access to private parking, and outdoor cameras cover the area around the buildings. Before you arrive, the concierge team can arrange a rental car, book a restaurant table or set up an excursion or a boat trip around the island.

Simpson Bay around the residence

A short drive takes you from the residence to Simpson Bay’s restaurants, marinas and shops. Simpson Bay beach and Maho beach are close by, and so is Princess Juliana International Airport.

For the rest of the island, a rental car is the easiest way to get around. The boardwalk in Philipsburg is reachable that way, as are Marigot and the beaches on the French side.

Booking a stay in A111

Check-in starts at 4 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. The condo takes a maximum of three guests, so it suits a couple, two or three friends or a small family. Staff of The Hills Residence are on site during your stay.

You can also book extra towels and an intermediate housekeeping service during the stay. With the full kitchen and the washer-dryer, A111 works for a few nights as well as for several weeks.
